A Glen of Imaal Terrier may only be fourteen inches tall but an adult male could weigh forty five pounds. They would not deliberately hurt any human but they will never be known as “Tinkerbelle” and that muscular frame, in such a small size, means immense power.

Do you realise that a Glen, because of this weight size ratio, can bruise an adult if they collide so is not suitable for children under the age of ten to take out unaccompanied by an adult and that if a Glen bangs into any small human under the age of four the child will end up flat on its back?
