An interest in the Glen of Imaal Terrier has brought you here. Possibly you are a repeat visitor to the EFG site & will already be noticing that things have changed a bit. Well it's 20 years since the EFG came into being so we've smartened up the website a bit. It's still what people like though, nice photographs of Glen of Imaal Terriers and not too many pages with lots and lots of text. There are links to pages and sites with lots to read & learn but we appreciate that initially most people are just having a look around.

Our 20 odd years are nothing compared to the Glen of Imaal Terrier's 84 years of official recognition but like them we will continue to adapt. The years may move on but the aim never changes; we honour & remember the past of the Glen of Imaal but combine it with an ever growing awareness of its future.
           And one way this can be done is making sure that any problems that could be encountered with the breed are known about before hand. This site can only happen with the honesty and input of Glen of Imaal Terrier people worldwide and thanks are expressed to them for their openness and support.
           This site does not promote any kennel, breeder, owner, country or type. It is just about the Glen of Imaal Terrier &, as such, delivers the FACTS FIRST
