NEW FOR 2010

For the past few years a big FUNd Raising Day has occurred and everybody has had a wonderful time-plus lots of money raised-but there have been requests for a “year round event” so for 2010 we are pleased to announce

PENNIES FOR PRA

Many keep a “penny pot” and into it place loose change so why not donate it to Bochum? If you are willing to do this just let us know and you will be sent a “Glen of Imaal Terriers-Beating PRA Together” sticker to adorn your pot. Together we can make a difference!

17 JULY 2010

This year the BIG FUNd Raising Day will be held on a Saturday so do mark it in the diary. The venue will be Hedge Green Cottage, Blackjack Road, Swineshead, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE20 3HH. There will be a Companion Show, eye testing by Prof. Peter Bedford, the Space Hopper Derby and Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Testing. There is always a lot of call on people’s time these days but it IS a very worth while cause and a great day out. Have a look at what went on last year!

Updates on the BLOG

Saw the release of the Bateson Report. In it he recommended that Health Tests should be done for every breed of dog that requires them so even more now IF YOU ARE BUYING A GLEN OF IMAAL TERRIER PUPPY make sure you have a 5 generation pedigree with your dog PLUS copies of (within 15 months) up to date official eye testing certificates of both the sire and dam

14.Jan.10

The judges for the Companion Show are Keith and Sue Holroyd and eye testing will be held from 10.00am-4.00pm. REMEMBER that eye testing now requires your dog to have permanent identification, as well as the KC registration paperwork, and there will be micro-chipping available. Appointments for eye testing can be made from the end of April
